Did you know that the very first digital watch ever created was a Pulsar LED digital watch was developed jointly by Hamilton Watch Company and Electro-Data?  Well, that very watch had been on eBay listing for awhile now for $25,000.  As we look back in history, we can see how LED watches have evolved.

Of course, I remember my first digital watch when I was about 7 years old, it was a Casio digital watch that could do many things such as stop watch function and water-resistant up to 100 meters.  Those days are gone but we still have many great LED digital watches to choose from and easily experience the retro-LED watches too.

Perhaps you have one of these watches in your secret watch collection, it’s time to sell it off.  (OR simply frame it and hang it on your wall.)

It is unheard of to find one of these watches with a working first generation movement as all 400 made were recalled and most were fitted with an updated movement or melted as scrap in the late 1970s.
